The FAAC 391 24V Articulated Swing Gate Operator is a residential automation solution designed for single gates where pillar width limits the use of linear ram motors. It is suitable for gate leaves up to approximately 2.5 metres in length, depending on weight and installation geometry.
The articulated arm configuration makes the FAAC 391 24V Articulated Swing Gate Operator ideal for brick or rendered gate posts. Unlike linear operators, this design allows smooth movement even when hinge geometry is restricted. As a result, installation is more flexible without compromising performance.
Powered by a 24V motor, the FAAC 391 delivers controlled opening and closing with soft start and soft stop functionality. This reduces mechanical stress on hinges and mounting brackets. In addition, adjustable speed and force settings allow the system to be tuned to suit different gate weights and site conditions.
The integrated electronic anti-crushing system monitors resistance during operation. If an obstruction is detected, the operator responds immediately to enhance safety. A manual release mechanism is also included for use during power outages.
