The ATA DAVE 1.0HP Industrial Shutter Operator is a heavy-duty commercial and industrial door opener designed for reliable automation of spring-balanced roller shutters and industrial roller doors.
Manufactured by Automatic Technology Australia, the DAVE combines a powerful 1.0 horsepower Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), intelligent electronic control system, advanced position monitoring and innovative OmniVolt power technology to deliver dependable operation in demanding industrial environments.
Featuring ATA’s ProfileIQ intelligent door profiling, SureTrack position monitoring and LiftMate installation assistance, the DAVE provides a modern industrial door automation solution with advanced programming and control capabilities.
Designed for both new installations and replacement applications, the DAVE is also an ideal upgrade for existing Grifco eDrive, mDrive and Maestro operators using the standard 92mm × 92mm mounting pattern.
With an additional mounting adaptor plate, the DAVE can also replace selected older Grifco operators with MD58 gearboxes and ATA Axess Pro Series 2000 operators.
Available in 240Vac single-phase and 415Vac three-phase configurations, with an optional mounting bracket kit, the ATA DAVE can be configured to suit a wide range of commercial and industrial installations.
⚙️ Choose Your Power Supply – Single Phase or Three Phase
The ATA DAVE features ATA’s OmniVolt interchangeable power cartridge system.
Rather than using completely different operator platforms for each electrical supply, the DAVE uses a compatible power cartridge to suit the available incoming voltage.
This allows the operator to be configured for single-phase or three-phase installations.
240Vac Single Phase
The 240Vac Single Phase configuration is designed for installations with a standard 230–240V AC single-phase electrical supply.
This option is ideal for commercial buildings, workshops, warehouses and industrial premises where three-phase power is unavailable.

The three-phase power cartridge allows the DAVE to operate from a compatible industrial three-phase electrical supply.
IMPORTANT: The 415Vac configuration requires a neutral connection. A three-phase supply without neutral is not suitable unless an approved electrical solution is provided.
📦 Choose Your Package – Motor Only or Motor & Mounting Equipment
The ATA DAVE is available in two equipment configurations.
Both configurations include the operator, the selected OmniVolt power cartridge and the standard hauling chain.
The difference between the two packages is the inclusion of the additional ATA mounting bracket kit.
Motor Only
The Motor Only option includes the standard ATA DAVE operator package with the selected power cartridge.

Replacement & Retrofit Installations
The DAVE can directly replace compatible Grifco eDrive, mDrive and Maestro operators using the 92mm × 92mm mounting pattern, subject to installation suitability.
Replacement of older Grifco MD58 gearbox operators and ATA Axess Pro Series 2000 operators requires an additional mounting adaptor plate.
The retrofit adaptor plate is not included with either package option and must be purchased separately.
The ATA 62622 Mounting Bracket Kit and the retrofit adaptor plate are different components.
Wireless transmitters, safety beams and other optional accessories are not included unless specifically stated.
The operator must be installed on a mechanically sound, correctly balanced roller shutter.
The maximum rated door mass depends on the installation configuration and applicable heavy-lift equipment.
All electrical installation must be completed by appropriately licensed personnel.
Installation and commissioning must comply with ATA’s instructions and applicable Australian safety requirements.
