The Superlift RDO-4 is a powerful and reliable 24Vdc garage door operator designed specifically for residential roll-up and roller garage doors.
Featuring an 800N opening lifting force, electronically adjustable travel limits and safety obstruction control, the RDO-4 provides smooth and dependable automatic operation while maintaining a compact side-mounted design.
With a maximum recommended door area of up to 15m², the RDO-4 is well suited to a wide range of single and double-width residential roller doors.
🚪 Designed for Roller Garage Doors
Unlike overhead sectional door operators that use a separate C-rail and trolley, the Superlift RDO-4 mounts directly onto the roller door axle and drives the door through the drum wheel.
This provides a compact installation without requiring an opener rail across the garage ceiling.
The RDO-4 can be configured for installation on either the left or right-hand side of the roller door.

The RDO-4 uses a 24Vdc motor powered from a standard 240V AC mains supply.
The low-voltage DC motor provides strong and controlled operation while allowing the electronic control system to manage door travel, obstruction force and other operating functions.

Once programmed, the opener automatically travels between these positions during normal operation.
🛡️ Electronic Safety Obstruction System
The RDO-4 incorporates an electronically adjustable obstruction force system.
During setup, the operator learns the characteristics of the garage door and allows the safety force sensitivity to be adjusted appropriately.
When correctly configured, the opener can respond to abnormal resistance encountered during operation. The installation manual specifies testing the closing safety system using a 40mm obstruction to confirm that the door stops and reverses appropriately.
📡 Built-In 433.92MHz Receiver
The RDO-4 incorporates a built-in radio receiver for compatible Superlift remote controls.
