This product is the Remootio 3 Smart Door WiFi/Bluetooth Garage/Gate Controller.
Remootio 3 is an accessory designed to add smartphone control to an existing automatic garage door or gate operator.
It does not include a garage door motor, sliding gate operator or swing gate operator.
The existing automation system must have a compatible external control input.
WiFi Requirements
- A 2.4GHz WiFi network is required for WiFi operation.
- Internet connectivity is required for remote operation outside the local network.
- Bluetooth operation can function without WiFi or internet access.
Position Monitoring
The included magnetic position sensor must be correctly installed to provide open and closed status monitoring.
Without a correctly installed and configured sensor, the application cannot reliably determine the physical door or gate position.
Electrical Requirements
Remootio 3 requires a compatible 5–32V DC or 12–24V AC power supply.
Do not connect mains voltage directly to the Remootio controller.
A suitable power adapter may be required depending on the installation.
Safety Requirements
Remootio 3 does not replace the existing operator’s safety system.
The garage door or gate must have appropriate safety devices and comply with applicable safety requirements before remote or unattended operation is enabled.
Remote operation should only be configured where the installation is suitable and the required safety protection is provided.
The Remootio controller should be installed in a suitable protected location. It is not intended for direct exposure to weather without an appropriate enclosure.
