FAAC 400 L CBAC Hydraulic Swing Gate Operator – 104202
The FAAC 400 L CBAC is a long-stroke 230V hydraulic swing gate operator designed for demanding residential, strata, commercial and industrial gate automation.
Part number 104202 is the long-body CBAC version of the FAAC 400, featuring a 390mm rod stroke, high 7750N maximum force and hydraulic locking in both opening and closing.
The extended stroke makes the 400 L CBAC particularly suitable for installations with large pillars, deep hinge offsets or gate geometry requiring greater operator travel than the standard FAAC 400 CBAC.

🔒 CBAC Hydraulic Locking

CBAC provides hydraulic locking in both:

- Closing

💪 7750N Maximum Force
The FAAC 400 L CBAC provides up to 7750N of maximum expressed force.
This is substantially higher than the 4650N maximum force of the current standard 400 CBAC 104201.
The increased force is achieved using a lower-flow hydraulic pump designed to provide greater force at a reduced operating speed.

Although this is the long version of the FAAC 400, the additional operator length is intended to provide increased stroke and installation flexibility rather than increase the maximum gate leaf length.
The maximum 7 metre specification sometimes associated with the FAAC 400 range applies to specific non-locking SBS configurations and does not apply to the 104202 CBAC L.

The current FAAC specification for 104202 is a 0.75 L/min hydraulic pump, 7.5mm/sec maximum rod speed, 7750N maximum expressed force and 390mm rod travel.
Although this is the long version of the FAAC 400, its maximum specified gate leaf length remains 2.2 metres. The extended body and stroke are primarily intended to accommodate large pillars and demanding gate mounting geometry.
The electronic control board is not incorporated into the operator and must be selected separately.
Electronic control equipment, radio receiver, transmitters, photocells, optional SAFEcoder and other system accessories are separate unless specifically included.
Maximum gate dimensions are manufacturer limits and do not automatically mean every gate within those dimensions is suitable. Gate construction, weight, wind loading, hinge condition, mounting geometry and operating frequency must also be considered.
