The FAAC ENERGY Start Kit 392 is a complete 24V articulated-arm automation package designed for double swing gates.
Featuring two FAAC 392 articulated operators and an integrated E034 electronic control board, the ENERGY Kit provides a compact and flexible solution for residential and light-commercial swing gate automation.
The articulated-arm design makes the FAAC 392 particularly well suited to gates with large pillars, deep hinge offsets or mounting arrangements where a conventional linear operator may not be suitable.

📦 Complete Double Gate Operator Kit
The ENERGY Start Kit 392 is designed as the core automation package for a double swing gate.
The kit includes:
- 1 × FAAC 392 C 24V Operator
- 1 × Integrated E034 Electronic Control Board
- 1 × Articulated Arm for 392 C
- 1 × FAAC 392 24V Companion Operator
- 1 × Articulated Arm for 392 Companion Operator
The E034 control board is integrated within the 392 C operator and controls both gate operators.
⚙️ 24V Articulated Gate Automation
Both operators use brushed 24Vdc motors combined with articulated-arm drive systems.

For gate leaves exceeding 2 metres, an electric lock is required.
Actual suitability also depends on gate weight, construction, wind loading, hinge condition and installation geometry.

Unlike a conventional linear actuator, the articulated arm can accommodate substantial distances between the gate hinge and the operator mounting surface.

When fitted with the optional XLC low-consumption module, standby consumption can be reduced to approximately 0.5W, or approximately 2W when Simply Connect is active.
The system can also support alternative energy sources such as solar power when configured with the appropriate equipment.
The XLC module and solar equipment are not included with the ENERGY Kit.
📡 BUS 2easy Technology
The E034 supports FAAC BUS 2easy accessories.
Compatible BUS devices can be connected using a simple two-wire non-polarised connection, simplifying wiring between the control system and supported safety accessories.
📲 Simply Connect Compatible
The E034 is compatible with FAAC Simply Connect.
When fitted with the appropriate Simply Connect module, the system provides additional configuration, diagnostics and connectivity functionality.
The Simply Connect module is optional and not included with the standard ENERGY Kit.
🛑 Electronic Obstacle Detection
The 24V control system provides electronic monitoring of the operators during gate movement.
When correctly installed and configured, the E034 can provide:

This makes the articulated system particularly flexible for entrances requiring greater opening travel than a conventional 90° swing gate.

FAAC rates the 392 24V platform for continuous use.

🔓 Manual Release
Both 392 operators incorporate manual release functionality, allowing the gate leaves to be disengaged and operated manually when required.

🔋 Optional Emergency Battery Backup
The E034 supports the FAAC XBAT 24 emergency battery system.
When correctly configured, battery backup can allow the gate automation system to continue operating during a mains power failure.
The XBAT system and batteries are separate accessories and are not included with the standard ENERGY Kit.

FAAC’s current catalogue specifies the kit as containing one 392 C operator with integrated electronic control board and articulated arm, together with one 392 companion operator and articulated arm.
The 392 C is the primary operator and contains the E034 electronic control board. The second 392 operator does not contain its own control board and is controlled by the E034 in the 392 C.
For gate leaves exceeding 2 metres and up to the maximum 2.5 metre leaf length, an electric lock is required.
Radio receiver, transmitters, photocells, flashing light, electric lock, battery backup and other installation accessories are not included unless specifically stated as part of the supplied package.
