ATA KPX-5 SecuraCode Wireless Keypad
The ATA KPX-5 SecuraCode Wireless Keypad provides convenient keyless access to compatible older-generation ATA garage door and gate operators using ATA’s SecuraCode 433.92MHz technology.
Instead of carrying a handheld remote control, authorised users can operate the connected garage door or automatic gate by entering their personal PIN directly into the keypad.
Featuring capacity for up to 20 individual PIN codes, four programmable channels, illuminated keys, a tamper alarm and battery level monitoring, the KPX-5 is an ideal replacement or additional access device for compatible ATA SecuraCode systems.
🔢 Keyless PIN Access
The KPX-5 allows users to operate a compatible garage door or automatic gate using a personal PIN.
Simply enter a valid PIN followed by the programmed channel button to activate the connected operator.
This makes the keypad particularly useful for providing access to:

🔐 ATA SecuraCode Technology

💡 Illuminated Keypad

🚨 Tamper Alarm
The KPX-5 incorporates a tamper alarm designed to discourage repeated attempts to guess an authorised PIN.
If more than three incorrect codes are entered consecutively, the keypad activates an audible alarm for approximately 10 seconds.
Further incorrect attempts will continue to trigger the tamper alarm until a valid PIN is entered.
This provides an additional level of protection against unauthorised access attempts.
🔋 Battery Level Monitoring
The KPX-5 includes a battery level monitoring function.
When the battery begins to run low, the keypad changes its normal transmission sound to indicate that battery replacement is required.
This provides advance warning rather than waiting for the keypad to completely stop operating.
🔋 9V Battery Powered
The KPX-5 operates from a standard 9V battery.
Battery-powered operation allows the keypad to be installed without running a separate electrical supply to the mounting location.

Compatibility
The ATA KPX-5 is designed for the older ATA SecuraCode 433.92MHz wireless system.
The KPX-5 is associated with the ATA PTX-4 / SecuraCode generation of remote controls.
⚠️ Please Note
The ATA KPX-5 is an older-generation SecuraCode keypad and should not be confused with the newer ATA KPX-7V2 TrioCode128 Wireless Keypad.
The KPX-5 operates using ATA SecuraCode 433.92MHz technology and is intended for compatible PTX-4 generation systems.
It is not compatible with newer ATA TrioCode remote-control systems using PTX-5 or PTX-6 transmitters.
The appearance of the operator alone is not sufficient to determine compatibility, as some ATA operator models were produced across different receiver generations.
Before ordering, check the model of the remote currently operating your garage door or gate.
If your existing system uses an ATA PTX-4 SecuraCode remote, the KPX-5 may be the appropriate keypad.
If your system uses a PTX-5 or PTX-6 TrioCode remote, the newer KPX-7V2 keypad should generally be considered instead.
