The ATA DAVE® Commercial Door Operator is a next-generation commercial and industrial door automation system developed by Automatic Technology to provide a powerful, highly adaptable solution across a wide range of door applications.
Rather than requiring different operator models for different door sizes, speeds, mounting arrangements and power supplies, DAVE has been designed as a highly configurable commercial operator platform. Its modular OmniVolt® power cartridge, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, electronic positioning system and wireless-first controls allow the operator to be configured to suit a broad range of commercial installations.
Despite weighing under 12kg, DAVE can handle doors weighing up to 1000kg when configured with the Heavy Lift Kit, while supporting up to a 60% duty cycle as standard.

One of DAVE’s major innovations is its modular OmniVolt® power system.

The Australian DAVE platform supports both single-phase and three-phase power supplies across 120–480V, depending on the installed cartridge.

The ATA DAVE® is a configurable commercial door operator platform. The correct power cartridge, mounting arrangement, drive configuration and accessories must be selected according to the individual installation.
The 1000kg maximum door capability requires the appropriate Heavy Lift Kit and should not be interpreted as meaning every DAVE configuration is suitable for every 1000kg door.
Door weight, dimensions, balance, operating geometry, required speed, duty cycle, shaft arrangement and application must all be considered when specifying the operator.
Commercial doors must be correctly balanced and mechanically sound before automation. Appropriate safety devices should be installed according to the door application and applicable requirements.
The OmniVolt® power cartridge should also be selected to suit the electrical supply available at the installation.
