The Delta Flatpanel Smooth Colorbond PanelDor is a custom sectional overhead garage door designed to deliver a clean, smooth and contemporary Colorbond® finish with the strength and flexibility of Delta’s purpose-designed aluminium framing system.
Each door is manufactured using our standard 38mm aluminium frame, constructed from 6063-T5 extruded aluminium rails and stiles. Smooth Colorbond® sheets are then formed with folded edges and bonded to the face of the frame using industrial adhesive, creating a crisp architectural appearance without exposed face fixings.
Available in standard Colorbond®, Colorbond® Matt, Colorbond® Metallic and Colorbond® Ultra finishes, the Flatpanel PanelDor is ideal for modern residential, architectural and custom garage door applications.
🏗️ 38mm Extruded Aluminium Frame
The Delta Flatpanel Smooth Colorbond PanelDor is built around our standard 38mm aluminium framing system.
Each sectional panel is constructed from purpose-designed 6063-T5 extruded aluminium components, including horizontal rails, perimeter stiles and internal vertical supports as required by the size and structural requirements of the door.
This creates a strong and rigid sectional door structure while keeping the overall weight lower than many traditional solid-panel constructions.
⬛ Satin Black Frame as Standard
The aluminium frame is powder coated Satin Black as standard.
This provides a durable internal finish and creates a clean contrast against the external Colorbond® face.
For projects requiring a different internal appearance, the frame can also be powder coated in an alternative colour as an optional upgrade.
🎨 Smooth Colorbond® External Finish
The external face of the door is finished in smooth Colorbond® steel sheet.

Construction
Each Delta Flatpanel Smooth Colorbond PanelDor is made up of a number of rigid horizontal sections.
A purpose-designed 38mm framework of 6063-T5 extruded aluminium rails and stiles forms the structure of each section.
Smooth Colorbond® steel sheets are folded at the edges and bonded directly to the face of the aluminium frame using industrial adhesive.
The completed sections are hinged together and travel vertically within the opening before transitioning through the track system and moving horizontally beneath the garage ceiling.
This construction combines the clean visual appearance of a smooth Colorbond® façade with the practical operation of a sectional overhead garage door.

The stated maximum dimensions of 8000mm wide and 3660mm high remain subject to the door design, structural requirements, finished weight, installation conditions and available headroom.
Frame layout, internal reinforcement, track configuration, spring selection and automatic operator requirements are determined according to the individual door.
Colour samples viewed electronically may differ from the finished Colorbond® product.
Colorbond® Matt, Metallic, Ultra, alternative frame colours, windows and other custom options may attract additional charges.
