Description

FAAC Beam Fork Support Adjustable – B614/B680H – 428806

The FAAC Adjustable Beam Fork Support is a genuine barrier accessory designed to support the free end of a compatible FAAC barrier boom when the barrier is in the closed position.

Installed at the end of the vehicle passage, the barrier boom lowers into the fork as it closes, providing a stable resting point for the end of the beam.

FAAC Part Number: 428806

🚧 Fixed Support for the Barrier Beam

The 428806 provides additional support for longer barrier boom installations.

When the barrier closes, the end of the boom rests within the fork, helping support and stabilise the beam in its horizontal position.

This makes it particularly useful for:

  • Longer barrier boom arms
  • Commercial entrances
  • Car parks
  • Industrial sites
  • Apartment complexes
  • High-traffic vehicle access points

FAAC lists the adjustable fork as a common B614 barrier accessory and includes it in its B680H installation accessories.

🔧 Ground-Mounted Design

Unlike the FAAC 428805 Adjustable End Foot, which is attached directly to the moving boom, the 428806 fork remains stationary.

The beam lowers into the support when closed and lifts clear when the barrier opens.

This means there is no additional moving support attached to the boom itself.

📐 Adjustable Support

The support fork is adjustable to allow the resting position to be aligned with the installed height of the barrier boom.

Correct adjustment ensures the boom is properly supported when closed without interfering with normal opening and closing movement.

🧱 Support Plate

FAAC also offers the dedicated:

  • 737621 – Support Plate for Fork

The support plate is used for installation of the fork support and is listed by FAAC alongside the 428806 for both B614 and B680H applications.

⚙️ Fork Support vs End Foot

FAAC offers two different methods of supporting the end of a barrier boom:

428806 – Adjustable Fork Support

  • Fixed in position at the end of the passage
  • Beam lowers into the fork when closed
  • Does not travel with the boom
  • Uses support plate 737621

428805 – Adjustable End Foot

  • Mounted directly to the barrier beam
  • Travels up and down with the boom
  • Contacts the ground when the barrier closes

This allows the most appropriate support method to be selected for the installation.

⚠️ Please Note

This listing is for one FAAC Adjustable Beam Fork Support – 428806.

The FAAC 737621 Support Plate for Fork is sold separately unless specifically stated otherwise.

The barrier operator, boom arm, foundation hardware and other accessories are not included.

For B680H installations, the fork support is not compatible with every beam configuration. In particular, FAAC states that the fork, end foot and skirt cannot be fitted to its pivoting round beam system.

The fork should be correctly positioned and adjusted so the boom rests securely in the support when fully closed.
